I've been selling autographs since 1967 and I have just seen something that I wouldn't otherwise believe . However I've seen this with my own eyes.

Out of approxamitely 100 professional autograph dealers world wide, Todd Mueller Auctions, a member of PADAH, was chosen to purchase the collection.
According to U-Haul, this collection weighs 21 tons. The 600,000+ items took two trucks to haul it from Texas to Colorado.
The collector lived his lfe collecting autographs. Many items were obtained in person. His home was packed floor to ceiling with boxes of autographs. The collector was 69 years old and was afraid of people stealing from him. He couldn't even use his bath room because the room was packed with cartons.. Basically his collection was killing him.
Autographs, in every category are availablle in multiples. For instance in two cartons I saw 65 items signed by Paul McCartney, 103 items signed by Ringo, all obtained in person. In addition multiple items signed by Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan. Everything from John Williams to Walt Disney. Cases upon cases of signed books including unopened boxes of books, limited editions, several signed by Harper Lee. The collection in several places ranged from 5 feet high to 5 feet wide. It is estimated it will take two years to reach and open all the boxes. It took me two hours just to look through a few cartons.
According to Todd Mueller, every item that has a value of $20,000 or more will be sent to some of his favorite auction houses.
The wife of the collector was aking 5 million dollars for the entire collection. Todd was able to bargin with her and purchased the collection for 1.5 million dollars.
Quoting the wife, one reason why she picked Todd Mueller was the fact she believed he would treat her fairly, being a member of PADAH. Hallelujah!
